PROVENCE

Provence is the birthplace of French wine, having been planted by the Romans in 200 B.C.. Most famous for it's Rose wines it is also home to wonderful red and white wine producing estates. The roses tend to be light, fruity, and mineral, while the reds can be powerful and rustic along with charming and complex aromas tend to show blue and black fruits, dried herbs and lavender. Whites have depth and ripeness showing peach, apricot, white flowers and mineral.
